For pre-2015 cars, the FR-S has a softer front spring rate, and stiffer rear.

FR-S: 2.3k front, 3.8k rear
BRZ: 2.7k front, 3.5k rear

Whether that's better or worse will depend on how loose you like your car setup.

If you like more over steer, 2013-2014 FRS. More balanced...BRZ or 2015 FRS

The balance is perfect in the 2015 FRS IMO. Flat cornering and grip most of the time. Cure any (almost nonexistent) understeer with a touch of throttle on exit.

The best set up is:

For FRS
Front FRS struts with BRZ springs, rear BRZ struts with FRS springs
Rear sway bar removed

For BRZ
Front BRZ struts with FRS springs, rear FRS struts with BRZ springs
Both sway bars removed.

I don't think I would enjoy that set up at all!

OH dude you had me worried! Your dig was way to subtle.
A "I understand from some that the BEST set up is..." would have gone a long way on that one.
That way it is not a direct slam but gets the veiled sarcasm across to the guys that know what you are referencing.

FRS comes with special super drift style suspension. Perfect for someone who drives "drift cars."
