Not sure how many people may be following my thread but i would like to gauge some intrest here. I am highly thinking about taking my car out to PSI in portland and that them do a 2jz swap in my frs or just fully build the stock little more and turbo it on my own.

A swap is easy way to get power but if I had the money I would build the engine and get boost.

In the long run the car will be a full out drift car so really im looking for good reliable power with easy to make more power that is why i would like to go the 2j way. The subaru boxer engine has never been reliable til now that they finally beefed up the piston ringlands unlike the old boxer engine. But i would just hate to dump so much money into building this motor and having it fail or not hold up in the long run.

Unless you're shooting for over 500whp, I would honestly just opt for a 1JZ setup. They're barely not much more expensive than SR setups mow adays. I know they can easily make 400 with some bolt ons and a tune
