My car has developed the dreaded "cricket" sound when idling. I am very sad :/

It would happen once in a while, usually if I had been driving alot/driving hard like going on mountain roads but would go away quit quickly. But after taking it to the track yesterday it now seems like its just part of the car. And I FUCKING HATE IT. And I'm only at 5k miles.

how was the install? Looks like we gotta splice some wires (I like how they just tell you to randomly touch the wires to your battery to see which ones are neg/pos in the install instructions: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Scion-FR-S-...tion-a/572.htm).

I was thinking of driving over there to pick the same kit up, but their yelp reviews are kinda...mixed:
