I think I also occasionally bottom out the fronts when going over rough seams in pavement on highways.

I presume adding a bit of preload, and then turning the bottom bracket by the same amount should give me the dampers a bit of extra room to with with under compression? Please advise. Note that my setup is a tad higher than the recommended height, so I don't think I'll be bottoming out the body if I do so
It's pretty difficult to "bottom out" this system due to its inherent design. Looking forward to watch the video and also find out a few other details including damper settings, alignment, tire pressure, and cornering load. Thank you!

I ordered a set for myself right around Christmas. The CSG site says this next batch is due for March 2019. I'm guessing that's meant to say March 2020?

It's definitely 2020 and brain farted when we updated the backorder ETA. Our apologies!

Are these rebuildable? I hear Tein Flex is not rebuildable. If they are serviceable, how much is the service?

Thanks.

Flex A are rebuildable (unlike Flex Z, that should be similar to A, minus rebuildability and minus hydraulic bumpstops), but as these are not off the shelve A-s, i guess you need to work with CSG, if you want to rebuild as in to restore like new or if you want to revalve, based on their current, CSG customized, valving.

Thanks.
Yes. These can be serviced. Rates vary based on condition of the system and we've seen some rebuilds (standard FLA serviced to CSG Spec or standard SRC serviced to CSG Spec) that looked horrible (a few had accidents and decided to get their systems serviced, etc.). Hence why it's difficult to provide a general cost.

You are correct. Valving is specialized to our requirements. CSG FLA is serviced in TEIN USA. Please work with CSG to get the system serviced. Depending on backlog of work and how much servicing is required, we've seen systems turnaround in a few days and some required a month (because of how many parts required replacement). Average has been around 1-2 weeks and we've only had to send 1 kit in for servicing in the last 2-3 years.

All of the recommended settings and measurements are in the manual; the manual included is specific to the CSG Flex A.

You'll be at about a -1.4" drop.

Here it is!
with just T6s from the session when I heard the issue.
Interestingly, I can't hear anything unusual on the video. Will keep an eye on that next time I'm at Laguna... Not unlikely that it will be during one of the 86DRIVE Challenge events

I'm now wondering if perhaps the sound was happening in some other corner, will revisit the whole footage some day.

Damper settings: 5 clicks from full stiff everywhere
Alignment: maxed in the front (-3.1), stock in the rear (-1.7ish in the right)
Tire pressure: ~32 psi hot if I remember correctly
Cornering load: please explain how can I get it? The car was corner balanced after installing coilovers.

If I'm just going by a 1.25 inch drop in the front with OEM sways and LCAs for the front. Will I need shorter endlinks?

EDIT: Should I get endlinks for the front and rear? If so, which ones? I'm getting conflicting information.

Didn't hear the noise in this clip. Can you describe it? Check all the bolts, collars, and such to make sure everything is tight. Measure everything again and follow the manual.

Believe it or not, most CSG FLA users use OEM endlinks without any problems. A set of rear LCAs is beneficial if you're looking to have some specific camber settings dialed in.

Yeah, I'm surprised there's nothing in the video.
If I remember correctly, the sound was similar to what I get when driving over a rough lateral ridge/pothole on a highway, i.e. just a hard boom.

Checked, everything's fine.

Speaking of endlinks, is that expected that I'm rubbing a hole in the frame with my end link at full lock? This is camber maxed out on the top hats, measured at -3.1.
Any workarounds other than dialing the camber off?

Lower profile end link, check out racer x.
Could also add camber bolts and dial out the camber plates, but might as well get the links and more camber as well.
