Ls3, LT4 z06 size difference

Im thinking about doing a swap but before you tell me to just buy a corvette I live in australia and Z06 here starts at about $200k.
What I want to know is what the physical size difference between an LS3 and an LT4 is. The reason im interested in the LT4 is because the blower set up makes it appear to be shorter than an LSA so it might still fit under the bonnet but I just dont know, or will I an LSA fit anyway?

Simple, a used Z06 would cost a lost less. Just say'n

Also your google-fu is super weak. Took me 2 seconds to type in ls3 dimensions and got my answer. You can do the same. Unless you want me to hold your hand while doing it.

Honestly it all comes down to time and money. If you got both any engine combinations is possible. Good luck. Happy googling.

I sent an email to Vorshlag asking this exact question as I am also intrested in doing an LT swap. I'm hoping the motor mounts are the same.

My LT4 is scheduled to arrive Monday. I will be starting the swap around the 20th after I return from vacation. I will be posting the build on my build page. I can tell you if the mounts bolt up this week.

Bolt pattern is not going to work on the Vorshlag mounts for an LT motor. The LT pattern is taller and wider. I will get a measurement later this week. I just held it up to the block to get the will it bolt straight up or not question answered.

I like the idea of them but then it will raise the engine. Most likely i will make new engine side of the mounts if the crossmember side of the mount will work with where I want the engine positioned. If not I will build them 100% new, and sell the Vorshlag ones.

Sweet, also do you have a link to where you'll be posting your build?

The LT bolt pattern measurement I got was
4 3\4" X 3 5/8" center to center on the holes. I was measuring it still on the pallet at an awkward angle, but I think it was accurate. I'm going to try to make some plates using those measurements. I will post pics of them bolted up when completed as well as any adj to my numbers.

I drew up the design for the plate just need to make it now.
Vorshlag plate in picture center to center on the holes is
4 13/32" X 3 3/2". That was what I got anyway.

Vorshlag plate set on drawing. Not to far off but not enough material to modify it
