True I suppose on the CTS vs ATS. If you drop down to an ATS-V though you can knock about $25K off the price I had above, and that's with most the options.

For a hot minute there were quite a few 2016 Chevy SS sitting on dealership lots for $40k-$45k, but guess they all moved so the last year '17s are sitting there with $50k stickers right now, but I'm sure those prices will tumble down by the end of the year.

Well I meant that, for the same pricing ISH you get a lot MORE for your money except for M3 which is less if you get a better deal.

That doesn't seem very remarkable to me. MSRP is $46,625 and GM cars can almost always be had for under MSRP.

Sorry, I still don't know what you mean. What more do you get for your money? The C63 has more luxury and a 4.0 liter V8 instead of a smaller V6 (Ferrari based or not, still a 6).

I remember seeing some new SS's in my area listed around $38-39k last year. That was around $10k off MSRP if I remember correctly. Not sure if that's GM's normal pricing policy, but seemed like a nice deal at the time.

Touche. It does cost more, Im comparing mainly to ATSV and BMW but then the Giulia costs more than those. Its a good medium when you put it that way.

For the same money Alfa Romeo only gives you 280hp to Chevy's 415, with a manual to boot. Seemed pretty nifty to me since the conversation was about how much value you can get.

Look like Alfa is gonna be the closest 4 Door 86 that we will get here in the US in terms of driving connection even the 2.0T I don't mind and the 8 Speed ZF is nothing to sneeze at. Going to see how this car hold up 5 years for now hopefully we can pick here up at used cars for a deal.
