Raceseng Camber adj top mounts issue

Doing the last touches on my suspension this morning and when installing my new top mounts everything went smoothly. Until it was time to torque my camber bolts. The first one went fine. But when I was torquing the next one to the recommended 13ftlbs the bolt broke. My heart jumped into my throat and I almost cried. I triple checked the torque wrench before I even put it on the bolt and quadruple checked after it broke and got my roommate to check just in case I was going crazy. Nope I followed the instructions to the letter. I pulled the broken bolt out and it wasn't crossed or anything. Maybe I got a defective bolt? I went to Lowe's and found the closest match and everything works. Reinstalled and was on the verge of heart failure when I was torquing them this time. All went well though. Has this happened to anyone else? Can I get a new bolt from Raceseng without having to take everything apart again or would I have to send it in? I'm assuming my replacement bolt that I installed should work well but I'd rather have the one I'm supposed to. I've only installed one side so far and I'm about to install the other. What should I do? Here are some pics. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1402801816000.jpg

A replacement bolt from anywhere should work. What kind of toque wrench were you using? Ones going up to like 100 Ft-lbs aren't very accurate at 14.

That said raceseng service is top notch. I had emailed him with an issue a couple months back, had tracking for what I needed by the first hour or so of the business day.

Just give @Raceseng a call or email and let them know what happened. They will take care of you.

Hey, sorry about the hardware issue! I wish I could manufacture our hardware too but we don't have the equipment for that. It sounds like the socket head screw sheared just under the head.

I will gladly replace all the socket head cap screws, please email me - jarrett@raceseng.com with your name and address.

Hey thanks Jarrett. You guys have amazing customer service from what I've heard and this just solidifies it for me. I sent you an email. I finished installing everything else with no issues at all. Great product btw. Everything was simple and easy to install. I will definitely buy from you all again.

This just reinforces my decision to buy these when I'm ready to pull the trigger on front plates.

Definitely worth it. I installed them along with the spl lcas to go with my st coilovers, got my ride height all sorted out and got my alignment today. So worth it. Handles great. Thanks to @CSG Mike for helping me out with some decisions.

This thread just sold me on the raceseng plates for sure. The fact that counter space loves them was part one, epic customer service sealed the deal.

Good thing you were able to extract it without issue. Otherwise it would have been a bigger ordeal.
