@Mrc@ptuning would the smaller turbo clear the stock sway bar?

Interesting. Any idea of turbo efficiency at around 8-10 PSI with similar boost curves the GT30 and GT28?
Want to see which turbo produces less heat. Assuming tuned similarly. |

We haven't tested a GT28. Both the GT3076R and GTX2867R make around 325whp on our dyno with the same mods (the shop car). The GT30 will be more efficient than the GT28 when you start approaching the 400whp mark as you'll approach the limits of the GT28.

Would the GTX2867R be a better turbo in that case? I rather not have massive amounts of torque down low. |

You won't have massive amounts of anything down low with either of these turbos. You are safe.

You can never have enough torque down low If you are planning to run 300whp to 370whp for daily driving, autox, track days then the smaller GTX2867R is a very responsive turbo and spools up very fast compare to the GT30R, but if you have plans to build your engine and run over 400whp, the GTX2867R will run out of steam on the top end after 400whp. We love the spoolup and low end torque of the GTX2867R for daily driving and it will probably suit the majority of our customers, but for those with built engines and bigger hp goals, you will need to go with a larger turbo like the GT or GTX30R. how about a GTX2871R, the GTX2867R spoolup and low end torque is great, just need a bit more top end which could probably be achieved with the 71mm vs 67mm compressor wheel. Haven't tried any of the GTX29R yet. but you could be the first Quote:
Sorry, our turbo system cannot be adapted for the A/T without a complete redesign of the turbo placement--currently no real demand for such a setup. The stock A/T bell housing is massive, which doesn't leave much room for a turbo or the 3" downpipe that's included in our turbo system. Hint, swap to a M/T frs/brz |

The GTX28 even with the biggest turbine housing will probably choke with my built motor. Might be the first to switch to the GTX29 this winter!
