My only experience with adding a bunch of camber at once was with my GD WRX for autocross when I replaced the stock bolts with Whiteline aftermarket bolts. I ended up getting 2.5 degrees up front coming from about 1 degree. I remember that first testing event years later where the car just turned in a lot better. It was a really great feeling - like it just did more what you wanted it to do and easily. I'm sure mid corner it was a lot better too.
.... and now there's me sitting here in street class for autocross with one degree using the OEM allowed camber bolts. I feel like street class rules for the SCCA should allow for one aftermarket camber bolt to be used. I mean, we allow one swaybar, adjustable struts, catbacks, etc... but no real camber adjustment? Other stock cars have camber bolts from the factory and it's a huge advantage. Civic Type R's can get 2.5 degrees up front I believe using stock bolts/parts. I feel allowing this isn't getting away from being a stock or street class. Bolts are like $20 and running 2.5 degees on the street is perfectly fine for tire wear. Can't wait to get to STX eventually and have endless alignment possibilities.
