Looking to get my alignment dialed in and plan to retain stock suspension for the foreseeable future. Does anyone have a link/part number for the OE crash bolts mentioned repeatedly in this thread? Seems that is the best route for making minor improvements to the stock setup.

Secondly, can anyone recommend a trunk handle that doesn't require drilling? I'm not overly interested in a hack job retrofit of the first gen Perrin handle. At the same time grabbing the trunk lid drives me crazy.

they've also got a full installation video as well.

the newest gen is going to have some minor differences in the dash trim fastening methods, but the rest of the speakers and wiring method should apply to the 2nd gen

Close the trunk by putting your fingers on the Subaru badge.

i put a license plate frame on that gives a really nice lip to easily grab to close the trunk lid. too bad your bought the wrong gen for that feature!

Also took the Liberty to install a long strip of sound deadening across the door. I doubt It will help much as I didnt get full coverage, but it’s probably better than nothing!
Nice! I'm just waiting for them to release the Sub/Amp setup and then just do it all at once.

When you say night and day, is there anything in particular that stands out over the OEM system? I'm really tempted to get this, but I'm a little hesitant because I feel it might not be enough for me. I'd prefer to just get a good subwoofer, but I don't want run any wiring to the battery this time around, so replacing the speakers is my only option.

My Fiesta has the stock audio but with a 300w rms sub out back that sounds really good, leaving me a bit spoiled. I'm gonna have to find someone who has this installed already.

much crisper and clearer overall. louder volumes dont distort as easily.

Does anyone know a good audio installation place in Los Angeles mainly on the west side? I don’t trust anybody out here.

I recently started pushing down by holding/pressing on the horizontal surface of the tail light enclosure (either side). Try it. Leverage is ok and fairly intuitive.
