BRZ Front emblem

Hello,

My BRZ 2017 will be delivered next month.
I have purchased the Loden 86 Front Emblem.
http://lodenemblems.com/products/86-frontrear-badges

But then, when i saw the youtube video below (at 01m05s),
i notice when you debadge the BRZ front emblem,
the underneath surface is not flat, but have a big indent.
(for FRS, the underneath surface is flat)
Since the Loden emblem is "thru hole", it will expose the indent.

Any BRZ owner here have the experience of removing the front emblem ?
Really appreciate if you can confirm if its flat or indent.

Just fill in the hole with putty or cover it up by putting tape over it. Pretty easy to hide.

Looks like 2017 bumper doesn't have a hole that needs filling.

I just can't take a debadged BRZ seriously. Looks like someone drew a cartoon nose on it.

I don't even see why anyone would remove badges.
Why not just start removing other random crap like the window trim or headliner?

WTF is that video?
The badge lights up and you have to drill a hole in the bumper?
That's the dumbest ricer shit I've ever seen.
Why would you do this to a newer car? Or any car?

Wouldn't leave debadged upfront. But If I had BRZ I would definitely be doing that mustache delete

This is the hole he's asking about that came on 13-16 BRZ models and no longer exist on 17 models.

I don't understand why you'd get a BRZ and then put 86 badges on it. Why did you not just get an 86?

welcome to actually wanting to mod your car. We don't try to find the cheapest boring parts and just slap them on and brag about it, we actually want to change our cars.

Where can I pre-order my copy of the BRZ/FRS/86 modification rulebook by LudwigMiles?

Some people prefer the look of a debadged car. Some people don't. The choice is yours!

Going to have to get my hands on those 86 badges though, those are pretty sweet. I'm thinkin bronze on hot lava would look gr8.

Makes more sense to rebadge a scion to toyota, not from subaru to toyota or the other way around. Why not just get the 86? Maybe op doesn't like the front end of the 86 or maybe the toyota dealership was asking more than the subaru dealership, but op hasn't clarified. This is the strangest mod I have encountered, including big wings, comical amounts of camber, and single exit exhaust
