P0301, P219A, P119F, P119E
Precursor to current issue. Went driving in NC mountains in sept, dropped fire to cylinder 4. Turned out to be leaky spark plug tube, shorted out plug and coil. Borrowed space in friends shop and pulled engine for new seals on both valve covers/tube seals. New plugs too. Put 200 miles on engine and notice a tick on exit ramp. Putt the car 20 miles up the road to parents and read current codes P0301, P219A, P119F, P119E. No longer ticking, rough idle, exhaust smells rich. Cylinder one actually has the new coil pack now, unplugged and reinstalled coil plug, pcv lines attached, brake booster attached. I only have top two DI computer bolts installed and read somewhere all 3 need to be installed for correct grounding. Any ideas?? I’m a noob to a lot, as well as code reading. How can I diagnose this? Valve rockers were all in place and cams looked good.

Well that is a laundry list. Since you have a P0301 I would start with the #1 cylinder. Spark plug, coil, injectors. The other codes are mixture related and would be a symptom of #1 not firing.
I am curious to what you are calling a “leaky spark plug tube”. Can you elaborate? |

The DI is apparently grounded by the bottom bolt. Install that and see what happens. My car throws P0219a, P0119f, and occasionally P0304 after a rebuild. I replaced upstream 02, MAF, and MAP and checked for vacuum leaks. Datalogging shows fuel trims and AFRs are off but I don't know why yet. I'm taking it to PTuning on Friday. I'll let you know what I find.

No luck. Swapped coil and plug on 1 and 3. Still prominently throwing p0301. Guess I’ll pay to get the coil connector tested, pull the pan off and look at the injectors? Can they compression test without pulling the motor?

Compression test can be done without pulling the motor. You can DIY. Autozone or another parts store should have a kit that you can borrow. I tilted my engine by taking one mtr mount nut off and leaving the opposite one loose. Some folks take the fuel pump or injector fuses out. The are a couple of good video tutorials out there.
