Everything is finally in! First impressions: holy crap if there was ever a feeling of "dialed in," this would be it. Everything on the car right now is just solid and responsive; every small input to the steering; the throttle is like an on/off switch when you press down on the accelerator. I couldn't be happier with the car. As far as increase in NVH, there is a slight increase in vibration during cruising over more bumpy roads, and the steering wheel is communication more vibration (albeit its far more feedback now); nothing that you can't live without, and when the car is accelerating or cornering, it actually creates an opposite effect of just smoothness.

You should try and remove the old flexible tower bar to see if you can curb the steering vibration with just the flexible v-bars installed as intended by design.

- revised gear ratios
- revised engine mapping "enhanced mid range responsiveness"

I wonder if this will bring any STI parts along with it.

I wonder if they will bring the tS to North America... That yellow photo hints at it, unless Yellow will become a colour you can choose.

wing is standard on all trims now, cluster is for the limited and comes even without performance pack, and aren't all the manual transmission shifters short throw? Sure is a hell of a lot shorter than any other standard car I've driven without one

It is short. I'm just hoping that maybe they'll bring the STI shifter to the US.

that's what I thought initially, but the direct link to the pic shows that it's a series.yellow.

They did install the STI short shifter onto the WRX STI Launch Edition. Aren't they even selling some STI bits now for the WRX in the States?

It'll be nice if they do, cuz that rubber boot was a bitch to get reinstalled from the inside for anyone looking to DIY.

I'm just wondering how compatible the STI catalog would be with the new car. Then again, most of the stuff there are much more hardcore than this new PP.
