Purchasing BRZ in So Cal

I am looking to purchase a BRZ soon and have a few questions regarding purchase price in the So Cal area.

Have dealership prices in So Cal come down to invoice levels? Or are they still selling them at a premium?

Is buying through an auto program such as Costco the best choice if you are not good at negotiating?

Are people still purchasing out of state?

Any pricing/purchasing information would be appreciated. Thank you.

i just negotiated, don't fall for that "these cars are rare" bullshit, i just reminded them, they're job is to sell cars, my job isn't to buy them. was able to get the last 1 of 2 2015 White brz Limited in so cal about a month ago (every where else had to order it which would take minimum 8 weeks) for 29.2 out the door. was there for delivery of the vehicle.

Thank you for the replies. Now I have a ballpark figure for negotiation.

I was quoted 28100 and 27850 for a limited from 2 dealerships. I guess I have to go in and negotiate my way down.

Those are not OTD prices. 27850 and 28100 are prices before TTL.

yea if you are looking at a 2015 BRZ limited you really arent gonna be able to get it for much below 27.1. Just tell em to cut the crap. if they want to sell you will come in and make it happen for 27.1 and not a penny more. thats what i did..ended up with a good deal on mine!
