Looking forward to the commentary vid for the twins. Apparently they are uploading more of them over the next few days.

That was great to watch/hear the feedback. Of course the Achilles heel is the brakes, no one saw that coming. Question is, how many model years until they bring back the Brembos.. 2023, 2024, 2025?

If you're just talking about not fading you don't need Brembos. The stock pads, even though they are better than the older models, are still the weak point.

Proper track pads and fluid won't be an issue for most people/tracks.

BBKs are more about reducing the long term operating cost for the twins.

Totally agree - The brakes pulled with great strength in my test drive. Its the longevity (as with the tires) that seems the only thing its struggling with, not something I could really test.

yep, what a surprise a car can't handle a 4.1 mile track with big braking zones from the factory...

It's rare that any DE or lapping groups run the Grand Course.
It'd be nice if they ran a track that is more commonly used by regular folks. In this case, Full Course.

Maybe run at Road Atlanta, CMP, Laguna Seca, etc.

I was thinking the same thing. The author mentioned being their test being inspired by a similar test done on the Nurburgring. I can't imagine how that works out for brakes and tires on stock cars...

It really doesn't seem like any track is good for most factory brakes and tires though. VIR Full would be gentler than Grand but I still think you're going to start melting most street pads after 2-3 laps.
