He did 20mm front and 25mm rear, so an inch and a half out front and two inches rear widened total.

The finish on those stock wheels along with the spacers look great. I see no reason to spend any more money unless you are going lighter.

The 5mm was in reference to the difference between 20mm and 25mm.

The questioned he was asked was if it made much of a difference to be squared or staggered, presumably.

His answer was as if he misunderstood the question and simply said he could feel a difference, thus resulting in why I asked two questions, yet you decided to give me one, which I already had the answer to.

The question:

Surely this seems in reference to the different sizes of spacers.

Oh and btw, an inch is 2.5 cm, which is 25mm.

If you are going to be totally accurate...

25.6mm = 1"

I just put 1" or 25.6mm spacers on my car.

Cool, well the 1" spacers measure 25.6mm and are advertised that way. You can also buy 25mm spacers if you want, but they are not advertised as 1".

I agree, I'm not a fan of the black/machine face finish of the stockers, but really like this gunmetal color. Eventually I'll put something else on, but I'm in no hurry so that gives me time to really pick the right wheel and save for something a little lighter/more expensive.

Yeah that's what I did last year I painted my 17+ wheels a metallic gunmetal. Later went with Konig Hypergrams which are really light 16lbs. But in all honesty I prefer the way the stock wheels with spacers look "appearance wise". The Konigs win daily for performance reasons, and the stockers w/spacer go back on before winter.
