Saw a raven FRS with MD tags on spring hill rd in McLean about 30 mins ago. Didnt look like it had much done to it other than tint.

I was behind you in the Aventador. Customer Cars FTW!

Is that your Aventador? Is it one of the Nero colors with the yellow brakes? Ive seen that one on International a few times. If thats yours, Id love to see that beast up close. I drive a black FRS, but VA plates. My office is at Jones Branch and Westbranch in Mclean.

Anyway, I saw a white BRZ come into my parking lot after COB today and do a loop around where I was parked - black wheels and aftermarket exhaust.

I was the FR-S - I parked by you but didn't get a chance to meet (nor whoever was driving the other BRZ - that car was in group 2 with me). What a great day to spend at the track - the rain really equalized the cars - I was running up on Mustangs, Corvettes, modified Miatas - fully stock!

Did you leave traction control fully on or put in VSC sport?

Oh hi

It was a really good day for me.

I learned a lot more than I would have if it were dry. The rain was definitely an equalizer. I was overtaking Mustangs and Porsches and I'm also fully stock. I still have the Prius tires!

Yep, I'm still fully stock too still. I was overheating the brakes - at the end of each session they were getting soft - and that was in the rain keeping speeds down. Of course, I was using a lot of ABS as well! Next time, new pads at a bare minimum (and plan to flush with ATE 200 or whatever the gold stuff is called since you can't buy superblue anymore - I had great luck with it with my old car). The tires actually performed a lot better than I expected - much better than on the street - in fact, on Summit Point Road on the way back, car kept wanting to kick out unpredictably! I left traction control fully on - didn't need my first time at the track with this car to get all muddy. After my first session, it wasn't activating much - but I needed that first session to get a feel for where I could push it.

I was all 4s and 5s in group 2i from 3 different instructors - hopefully next time I can go up to 2 solo.

Are you addicted now? Ready to go back next year?
