Finally fixed my computer. I replaced the RAM, and after a little trouble shooting, my computer is up and running!
Found a good deal at Best Buy of the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600Mhz.

D15S is nice! Enough mass that it keeps temps really stable and cools quite well.
I have 2x16 (4 rank overall) at 3600/CL14 slightly under spec on voltage (1.42) but then... that's technically on the high side generally. Seems to stay cool enough (Phanteks P400a - 2x140mm, 1x120mm hacked in on the front panel; exhaust fans only in the rear/rear top slots, blanked for the front top grill to force the air path) and heat is one reason I wanted to stick to just two sticks, not four. I've backed off slightly on video card settings to avoid having the fans full blast (they don't ramp fast enough under heavy use which causes crashes; if I start 'em off full speed it's fine, but I like the insane quiet I can get for most tasks so don't bother...) I have a Sapphire card, and they're among the lightest - I guess the (lack of) mass is probably why it is less stable. Oh well. I got it just before all the prices started jumping so my performance/$ is still only slightly unreasonable. Sometimes I wonder if I should water cool, then remember this is doing everything I ask without trouble (the hard use case is sim racing on triple 1440p...) Whee! Heat is always the enemy. Dust is the sneaky insulator you don't notice. Also can reduce airflow with fan-blade buildup.

OK Old Gamer Dude Rant of the Day...
Here's things that hack me off in open world games.... Only being able to track one objective at a time. At minimum you should be able to have one major and one side quest active on your map at the same time. Preferably you should be able to activate multiple or all if that's what you want. Games that don't track stuff that impacts a quest unless the quest is active. Example, Horizon Zero Dawn does not count specific kills against the Weapons Tutorial quests unless it's active. I've trapped several dozen enemies with trip wires, but it only counts against the three in the tutorial if I activate it first. Just like you can buy maps against resources, you should be able to buy maps, or some other device, that shows the location of all side quest givers. I'd be OK if there was a requirement to complete the main quest first, but I shouldn't be left not knowing if I did every possible thing I could have done. Auto-generated repeating quests need to have a limit unless they are integral in the main quest, which they never are. You should be able to save anywhere, including in the middle of a boss fight. OK that's enough for today.

i wish they had 2 difficulty trees in games
serious: easy/medium/hard/impossible minimal saves, minimum tutorials, the 'raw' game for fun: easy/medium/hard/THIS IS SPARTA all quests are available, with save/replay options available anywhere at any time

I played Morrowind years ago. I guess I was more tolerant then, or a better note taker.

I've been inclined to get FH5, keep seeing how good it is and blah blah. But I wanted to finish FH4 first so I jumped on. Got myself an RX-7 and did a 4-Rotor Swap. Not only did this thing not have any grip at all, it sounded absolutely awful and I remembered why I stopped playing FH4. Because how generic the engine sounds were. After a few races, the game just froze. Im just going to uninstall the damn thing.

On a different note, it is very sad and almost frustrating how the gaming industry has lowered its standards. For one, companies are putting so much pressure into their developers to push games because of a schedule. Companies seem to green-light releases with unfinished games, relying on the the possibility of releasing a patch AFTER the game release. Some of the latest examples are No Man's Sky, Fallout 76, Cyberpunk, GTA: Definitive Edition, Battlefield 2042.
Remember paying $60 for a game that even came with a booklet and a nice map or poster? Not anymore, unless you shell off $120 for a collector's edition. What about paying $60 for a game that was finished from the get-go, or a game that included split screen, campaign, and multiplayer, even a demo for an upcoming game. What about a game disk that wasn't an installation CD with a 60GB additional download for game files. Remember waiting in line at Gamestop for the midnight release, go home, enjoy your ready to play game and miss out on work/class the next day, or look like death because of harcore gaming the night before? These days the most sensible thing to do is wait at least a month for the issues to be ironed out before you even consider buying a "new" game. Personally I rather wait an additional amount of months to enjoy a game that is finished and polished, most likely playable, rather to get a half-assed game. These issues won't get fixed unless customers take a stand and refuse to blindly purchase games from a recognized company just because of a so called hype. Myself, have learned a lesson, to wait at the very least, two weeks to read reviews and reactions before making any purchase on a new game.

Personally, I rarely buy a game on Day One any longer. Last one I did was MS Flight Simulator, but I knew it was an unfinished game. Before that, I believe it was Fallout 4. I've sort of gotten into the cadence of buying AAA franchise games just as the next release comes out.
