Tail/Fog/Plate light fuse keeps blowing

So my #4 fuse went out, i replaced with the spare, and the moment i turned it on, blew immediately without any of the concerned lights even lighting up for a fraction of a second.

Car mods - vleds plate lights, + diode type A projector fog assemblies. But these bulbs have been running for about 7 months without problems. I also inspected them and see no browning or anything.

The only clue/last thing i have was i parked the car and left the dome light on “on” accidentally.Returned to the car with dome still on. I know its far but could that be related to anything??

My guess is a short on the boomerangs or the fogs.. but the fog indicator on the instrument cluster lights without issue. So.. boomerang plate and tail? Any easier way to check?

There's a short in the wiring.
Time to get out the multi-meter.
Could be anywhere.
Most of the sockets these days are mounted in non-conductive plastic.
That's the first place to check, but could be anywhere in exposed wiring bundles.

Look into all the connectors on the ends of the wiring for flash marks too.

Thanks. Am i right to assume the short is obviously just in the wiring of the said/related parts to the fuse #? Im just gonna bring it over to a car accessories shop nearby tomorrow... im sure theyll get this sorted better than me lol

Circuit. All of it. Anywhere along the way.
Negative battery terminal to Positive battery terminal.

Something in that particular circuit is F'd

If your side markers are disconnected, it can short.
