Yup, Planning DS for a few years then figure can convert these to ST* down the road.

Rear MCS's on. Dry Breaks on the lines made slipping through the air vent super easy, and didn't have to even remove them. Plus might have found a spout to wedge the cans so they don't move, can be adjusted, and still toss the floor cover on.

Here is how I mounted mine on my 2017 BRZ, if it helps. Just cut tiny slits in the carpet/trim and zip tied them, easy to access and adjust. Wish mine had the dry breaks on them back then, those are cool.

Engine oil suction pump. Pulls the oil out the dipstick.

Can you clarify why this is being done this way vs popping the drain bolt on the oil pan? Im sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation of something I am just missing in my limited mechanical knowledge.

You snake a tube down the dipstick tube and suck the oil out of the oilpan. You never remove the drain bolt.

As to why, it's more convenient than jacking up the car is really the only reason.

What is the end of the dipstick does not lead to the bottom of the oil pan?

Pulled almost 6 qts, these do a pretty good job.I already ordered the fumoto drain valve, next oil change I will use the fluid extractor and then pull the drain plug to check how much (if any) is left. Will report. 👍

That is one of the cons of this solution but I've heard that for the most part they get pretty much all of the oil. A little residual old oil isn't going to matter.

I've got a Fumoto coming for the new car myself.

Added the GR86 premium spoiler on the car, since I'm a big fan of ducktail spoilers and I liked how well engineered the OEM one is.

I think it looks pretty good, and the paint match looks close. I can't tell if it's slightly more white or if my car is just that dirty already.

It does look slightly more white, but hopefully it's just the pic or the car is a bit dirty. I was hoping the white was 100% identical as I'm still thinking about possibly swapping the GR86 bumper on my future BRZ. If there's actually a difference in color then I may not even bother anymore.
