Idk. I am hearing this second hand, so maybe it wasn't actually 2 whole weeks. I know she had to test negative before returning to work anyway.

We cannot and will not do that. Add in the Greek Chorus of idiots around the globe and it’s not just an uphill fight, it’s nearly vertical. I’m pretty sure I sound like a broken record, but this will keep happening. We’re dealing with a threat the likes of which we haven’t seen before. It reminds me of criticisms I’ve heard and lodged against the military - too often they run into problems because they are refighting the last war.

Even the folks who have a clue are struggling and then we have a crowd of know-nothing, backbench warming, armchair flopping, barstool riding would-be epidemiologists spewing a reeking cloud of brain farts into the air. It will present interesting case studies for graduate students in 100 years IF we don’t REALLY FUCK THINGS UP BEFORE THEN. I’m not betting on us.

LOL. Not really necessary. I'm past getting too excited by a lot of this nonsense. Sometime back I reached the "disgusted resignation" phase of old age.

Oh look, a new variant right in time for a major holiday time frame. How planned. Oh well, need something to boost prices of everything, incite more panic, and keep us locked up. Guess they felt they need to keep controlling us till we are nothing but sheep.

Went to the dmv in lake worth fl yesterday. No masks reqd but they're still doing things by appointment which really lessens the amount of people in the building and drastically shortens wait times. I kinda like that. It used to be a zoo. Some were still wearing masks, probably just under 50 percent. On another note, getting my booster on the 8th.

It appears the situation has you feeling a bit sheepish.

Did you go out and buy a Serta mattress?
