Rebuilt engine? WTF? The least they could do is give you a brand new car. You didnt pay full price for a car with a rebuilt engine!

I think that dealership may have used their words poorly. I think "rebuilt engines" is referring to "replaced timing actuators". Having a part replaced is not he same as having a rebuilt engine.

yeah you have to uncork the drain screw and feel around, if the oil is up to the fill screw you are fine, if not then take it to the dealership

while your at it, you might aswell drain the stock transmission fluid and put redline in there, a few member have done it and a lot of the complaints have gone away

Went to AutoZone & pulled the code. Code is P0011 and it means there is a timing over advance or system performance bank. The probable cause is either a blocked oil passage, mechanical timing fault, failed OCV, or VVT controller assembly fault.

Any ideas why or would a two year old scanner just not be supported?

Edit: I already know about the other threads addressing this problem...i was just curious about the Scanner not working with ECU and why it might not.
Did you ever find the issue sir?
