Still need to fix that damn clock lighting.

Looks amazing! Can you share some info on how you set up those gauges and the screen next to the start/stop button? Thanks!

Picked this up about a month and a half ago from Arizona. It is a forum member's former car, I got it at the dealer that he sold it to.

Did you install these or is it a photoshop? I'm about to install mine onto my 13 soon.

These are on the car already!

Sad story about this HyperBlue BRZ by the way. VIN #370. Owner bought it as a CPO from out of state. He never saw the car before purchase. When I saw it I checked it out, and found it was missing some small parts here and there (like the trunk liner and clutch stop pad) but also the steering wheel was deformed and smashed up. The car came with completely blacked out taillights and side indicators. Looks pretty sketchy...

Sounds like it had a crappy owner who disrespected the car for sure.

Did you install the tails? If so, what did you do about the gasket situation? I have the OEM 17 gaskets, but I'm still going to use 3M weatherstripping adhesive and seal them to the lights, really don't want these bad boys to get condensation in them after I spent $700 buying them.

I am the owner of this Hyperblue. In addition to the questionable workmanship of the mods, there are a lot of evidence that the previous owner had tracked the car and gotten it into the gravel pits at least once. While I did observe from the (low resolution) dealer photos that there were some cosmetic modifications, I trusted the fact that the car was a CPO. It did not become apparent until after I took delivery that there were many other issues with the car and just how sketchy its condition was. To add to this, the CPO checklist did not reflect the state of the car, and many items, including the ones for removing aftermarket mods, steering wheel alignment from the road test (if one was even performed), checking tail light lenses, etc. had been checked and signed off even though this was clearly not the case.

I have an open case with Subaru of America for this, and the car is getting a thorough inspection by @Veloist's dealership to provide more detailed information on the condition of the car for the investigation.

As for the tail lights, I borrowed these from a friend. From what I can tell, the way the gaskets are compressed when the tail lights are installed seems sufficient for keeping out moisture, but feel free to add additional weatherstripping if you want to be extra safe.

Best of luck to you man. I have a feeling things will go your way. Your car had under 11,000 miles which is lower than average so it was a good find, but too bad the selling dealership was either shady or just didn't know anything about the car.

I had very very similar shady tactics with my BRZ from Subaru of Glendale. SoA was god awful and was no help. Making me wish I would have gotten an RS 2.0 from the start. Nonetheless, I had to fight tooth and nail to get my car fixed but I love my BRZ regardless

Thanks, man. It is quite disappointing to wait two weeks for the car to arrive only to find that the condition of the car was not what was advertised to be. I am hoping that we will be able to come to a resolution and a positive outcome soon.

Yikes, sorry to hear. Was your BRZ sold as a CPO as well?
