Post alignment and ride height adjustment.
Car feels very responsive on the street. Not nearly as firm as I expected. Brakes are almost bedded and they feel great. |

Nice! The rear toe is perfect!
Have you considered rear control arms and toe arms to bring the rear camber down? Or is the current camber ideal for what you want? Edit: I love your last set of pics, makes me want to drive south and hit a proper track haha. Your car is a near twin to mine, cosmetically

Quite a bit of caster difference side to side. Did they weight down the driver seat or were you sitting in the car for the alignment?

I have SPC adjustable rear LCA's and stock toe arms. I bring the offset toe bushings in with me every alignment but they haven't needed to install them yet to get the car dialed in. I'm cool with this current camber setup as the car sees the track frequently. Thanks for the compliments and you definitely should come down and experience any of the road courses in the states. I noticed that but was sitting in the car for the alignment and the before numbers were on the display with me in it. The tech didn't make any additional changes after I got out and he printed the sheet. |

I sat in the car as well when mine was being done at GTE. My castor matched up a little bit better I think. Do you remember if you pushed the plates all the way for maximum castor?

No, I didn't. They left them at the bottom. I talked to the tech about it and he wasn't sure maxing out the caster would be noticeable on track or beneficial. I may do it myself but I'm worried it would throw off the front toe again.

Just wanted to give some more feedback on the new setup.
I did some mixed city and highway driving over the weekend and I am really surprised by how nice the ride quality is after dialing everything back a few clicks to the "additional comfort setting" from the recommended "trackable" damper settings. It is firm but absorbs bumps and deviations very effectively and smoothly; much more so than the stock shocks. The T2's Definitely exceeded my expectations in a good way. Quote:
The @Raceseng Cascam plates and rear shock tops are just icing on the cake. I'm happy to say they haven't added any NVH and are doing their job perfectly. Just driving on the street with -3F and -2.5R camber feels amazing. The turn in responsiveness is out of this world and my RE-11A's feel like they will never let go even when they're barely warm. It's nice knowing that I have more camber available and extra rear bump travel for when I load the car up with track day gear and extra fuel that it will not be bouncing off the bump stops in the rear. I haven't had any issues getting around with the current ride height yet either. I'm just careful with my angle of attack as usual. The BBK is finally bedded in with the Carbotech Bobcats in front. It feels great and the pads are staying completely quiet which makes me very happy. The additional clamping force of the 2 additional pistons side to side is definitely noticeable on the street and the car just wants to stop on a dime now. I can't wait to bed in my CL RC6 race pads and see what these brakes can really do on track in a few weeks. |
