Any data to back that up? I'm fairly happy with my Delicious tune.

Not trying to start anything—genuinely curious.

Just what I've seen on Facebook and for the forums over the past few years. I only see positive comments involving people who get a real custom tune in person and rarely if ever have I seen positive remarks on etunes from them. They might be great for most people but I see more negative than positive.

Weird. I see nothing but good things! Driveability, numbers? What are the complaints?

Drivability mainly. Canned tunes are never good. Seen a few guys who were making pulls and getting like 11:1 af on n/a cars.

Sounds like something is wrong then.

Are you making a distinction between a one-time flash and a multiple revision remote tune?

Delicious revised my tune over 5 times till it was perfect. It isn't a "canned tune".

I've had zero interaction with these people just going off of what I've read. They do great work when they actually tune the stuff from what I've seen but the way it's been presented to me online is that a lot of these people are just told to dump a tune into the ECU and it's supposed to be good to go. If I was west coast and local I would have had no issue having them tune my car.

Definitely not a one-time flash. That sounds like OFT to me.

I think that's how a lot of people apply them. They only flash the base map and never do anything follow-up.

In that case, that's just the owners fault—the revisions are free and included/expected with the purchase of any of their tunes. Zach at Delicious will literally keep updating your tune until he is satisfied. Every car is different, so 5+ revisions is common.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. Just wanted to clarify

JDL EL looks awesome, and sounds awesome.

Lol well that's good to know. I've always respected what I've seen that's had their attention. Currently waiting on my 3rd revision of my tune from James. Car already feels and drives better than it did stock tho lol.

That just means the car is a bit rich. I know of my OFT Tune V4 E85 I am seeing a constant 11.6-11.7 AFR at WOT. Rather be a bit rich then lean...
@Roadcone would HRI due a OFT tune? For an NA there is zero reason expect to protect the tune from being shared...

I doubt it. Ive tuned all of my own stuff previously but this car having two fueling systems and me not having time to learn about it enough had me farm it out to hri since James knows what he's doing from what I've seen and talked to him abiut. When I looked into Oft and tactrix tuning I was letdown by how it was taken care of. Ecutek has a much more polished feel. Also A full point off is pretty damn far off on fueling especially on gasoline. Especially considering these cars have a factory wideband.

I've got mine. It works. Makes power. All is well. What updates you wanting? Lol

Here's a sound clip underload. Recorded on GoPro 7 black with it mounted to my windshield. Windows down. Rolling into it in 2nd and shifting into 3rd.
