lol I would recommend ecutek. I don't think the OFT is working with any other kits right now besides there own. ECUTEK for the win!

Yes oft\opensource now have flex fuel compatable tunes on some rom calid, and their running them on SBD turbo kits.

the oft code runs standard 0 to 5 v flex sensor input to the Evap input on ecu.

just check with shiv for rom compatability but the moto-east flex kit should work fine with oft flex roms as long as you get the evap input version not the rear 02 input version.

Wrong they now have fkex fuel support on some roms, this kit like most others uses standard 0-5v signal for flex fueling, should work fine with oft flex system

Out of curiosity. Looking at the Delicious Tuning kit they have that controller box thing. I noticed obviously you don't have one.

Whats the point and/or difference between the two ?
Is that controller thing needed or is it something specific pertaining to a certain piece they are using ?

The delicious box is a bluetooth sender. Instead of a dedicated gauge, you need to use your phone or head unit paired with the sender to see the data. It's unnecessary extra complexity and less reliability in my opinion and pales in comparison to their actual tuning.

Got this kit finally installed today! It took me about 1.5 hours but that's because i like to take my time and want to have it done nice and tidy!
I have to say that this kit comes with everything you need to plug and play including alcohol wipe if you use the double tape. Also the support has been incredible really. Ready to answer your questions in a very professional way regardless of how panicked you are

Evening All,

Just got the kit installed tonight! Very easy install, took about an hour going slowly.

The display (when car is on) shows E9 (makes sense, as I've still got 93 in the tank), but Custom Map J in Ecutek shows 0. The harness from the Zeitronix box is plugged into the black O2 (which I understand is the post-cat O2). Should it be plugged into the grey instead?

I'll shoot mike an email, but thought i'd check here first! Any other things that I may be missing?

EDIT: Looks like the Grey O2 connector is a different connector, and therefore the black connector must be the correct one. I wonder if something is missing from my tune -- I sent Mike an email. Will see what he says.

Thanks!

good thread with a lot of good information. Is the DI/PI situation still an issue? If so, is there another trigger that can be used other than the VSC button? I would prefer to have all my traction control options available? What other buttons or actions can be used?
