I ordered one on 7/21 due to my gr86 allocation just taking forever and ultimately will take the one that comes in first. My dealer gave me an estimate between September to November, which feels very optimistic for ordering later than most here in this thread. Fingers crossed one of them comes in around that time frame.

I saw a Redditor post his new '23 BRZ picked up at Simmons Subaru, Long Beach, CA. So, looks like orders are starting to get fulfilled.

The dealership down the road from the one I ordered from also has a 2023 WRB as of yesterday. They are definitely showing up now.

E-mailed my salesperson this morning, and no VIN # assigned for my order yet. Still have an estimated delivery of August (guessing late-Aug), but we'll see if it holds.

Long story short, the 2023 that i originally ordered will arrive at the dealership mid Aug. The Vin was already available back in late May. I ordered back in beginning of April.

I was considering the STi aero bits, but all of them would have added $2k to the price, so I passed. Although I've seen some red ones with the STi bits, and the black/red combo really looks good.
Order the sti aero bits from the dealer and have them shipped to the dealer. Save 15% and free shipping. You can install them in a day.

Called up my salesman and he told me that the car is in transit! Expecting it in 2 weeks max.

Will it smooth out the shift action? After driving German cars for a while, longer throws don't bother me, but I would like the shift action to be smoother/faster.

Can confirm orders are getting filled quickly. My ETA went from October, to August, to "Hey your car is here". Picked mine up yesterday.

Yes, please let know when you ordered. Ordered on May 7th and have been told to expect a VIN any day but still nothing. Congrats on the new ride!

I placed it late April at Frank Subaru in San Diego. No markup, no BS, straight shooters.

That's the idea. I'm sure I won't be able to notice since the last manual I had was my '15 BRZ, but that got traded in early 2018 on a '13 135i with the DCT, then that was ditched in the summer of '19 for the '18 Mazda 3 we've sharing.

The 135i even low mileage was a maintenance nightmare.
