If you're using a controller, the PS5 version is better as the haptic feedback offers the best experience possible when compared to a PS4 version. We were mentioning this a while ago, but is kind of weird in a way, playing with a PS5 controller the game gives you quite a bit of feedback on the throttle and brake controls. You don't get that much steering wise. A starting wheel setup (G29/920,etc) will give you steering feedback, but no brake and throttle. You can't really go wrong with either, it all depends on how precise you want to be and it really depends on the vehicle.

That's why I specifically called out the PS5. Is not comparable to a wheel, but if you're using a controller. The PS5 one offers a good amount of feedback to offer the best experience possible on controller.

I believe the Fanatec Clubsport comes the closest in terms of feel. Wheels like the G923 have potentiometers which digitally determine how hard to brake depending on the degree of travel. Whereas the Fanatec ones use load-cell which measures force. I'm sure there are better setups out there, but if I don't know about them, is because I can't afford them.

I was going to say for anyone using Logitech G series pedals (I have an adapter to use my old G27 pedals with my T300 RS wheel) you gotta get a brake pedal spring upgrade. I got mine from Richmotech a few years ago. It's a spring with a rubber stopper in it that helps turn the last 10-15% of travel super-stiff to help it act a little more like a load cell.. or at least make driving cars with no ABS more manageable.
I can't find it anywhere though, seems they quit making it. Quick google search for something similar only turned up replacement coil springs. I know there were a lot of DIY solutions too, worth a look. |

Did the BR86/BRZ race at Nurburgring F1 a few times last night. Kept getting sorted into groups that always had 1 A+ driver with a 2:24.xxxx qualifying time. Thanks a lot PD, lol.
My best showing was gaining 4 positions. Really just happy it wasn't raining

I tried Miata Tsukuba 1hr lap again. I’ve improved and got 2nd (last time 3rd). I was expecting about same amount of reward as last time… but NOPE! I got Jack shit! NOTHING! If you reduce the prize credit for getting a same position is one thing, no fucking credit? GT, that’s BS…
& to add, daily ticket was fucking 1 star… SMH |

It would be worth picking it up. They have fixed a lot of issues encountered since the release. Plus, if you're looking for a relaxed multiplayer session, we try, and I say TRY to hold a race session on Saturday nights. Rules are pretty simple. We have another thread for it.

Huh.. that's certainly odd. Also, I didn't know you could customize the helmet and racing suit.

Yup! Same spot as livery. Speaking of GT Auto. It always bugs me that, car maintenance & car customization can’t go back & forth. It literally kick you out to the main map to go back to other GT Auto. It’s been like that for…. Forever & it bugs me for forever! |

For the Missions you only win money once for each level (bronze, silver, gold). And since Silver is places 2nd - 5th, yeah you get nothing. I find it really frustrating as well, to commit to an hour long race and get awarded jack sh*t.
On a brighter note, I did spa the other night and it didn't rain!!! So that's like 1 out of 10 tries no rain (still ridiculous). Also won this bad boy with a 4 star card the other day, though all cards, regardless of stars, still give me the lowest payout every time. Does anyone else have this car? Looks pretty insane: 3000 lb weight and 1600 hp

I thought it was playable enough on a controller it was enjoyable. I played with a controller for a day while I was messing with an issue with my wheel which turned out to be user error lol
