Random Question/Rant of the Day from your Uncle Dadhawk

So, why is it that wait staff, fast food workers, gas station attendants, and others that have to deal with putting napkins or paper towels in dispensers don't get that if you stuff the bloody dispenser full you can't extract the paper from the container?

I must have pulled 15 paper towels out of the dispenser at the gas station pumps this morning before I got one that was actually useable and not just one of the corners.

Hey, I'll be 57 this summer. But, I did have 2 of them for the longest time. My 2 older boys bought them and I had them in my safe. They took them when we moved.

Just had a small hawk fly into my glass back door. It landed on the deck, flopped around for a second, shook its head, and flew off. My wife was standing right at the door taking the dog out. Scared her good.

not bad. started a new job in banking with the intent that it will open doors etc to me when I finish my degree in Finance. it's only been a few weeks but I've decided that this retail type of banking atmosphere is 100% not for me. I'm not someone that needs to deal with the public on a regular basis. but that's ok. they have other options and I will continue to explore my options.

in other car related news I might be picking up a 95 3000GT VR4 soon. found one in St.Louis that I really like but I need to get someone to check it out before I make the trip. I'd hate to go all the way there and find out that it's knocking or has some other major issue I don't feel like dealing with out the gate. Hopefully it checks out, I miss the platform and wish I had never sold mine in the first place.

I drooled over the 3000GT for a while but never got over the AWD. I probably wouldn't have fit anyhow. We'll never know.
The 3000GT was the car that switched me over from old muscle cars to Japanese GTs even though I never had a chance to own one. I saw one back in 91 and fell in love but when I found out what they cost I very quickly dropped that idea. Luckily DSM was making the poor man's version in the Triplets so I grabbed a year old 91 Talon TSi. And here I am today.

I just flew into @Sapphireho's 86, and boy are my arms tired. On the bright side, the ringing in my ears doesn't seem so bad.

Oh how I drooled over the 3000GT and the Stealth, particularly during the pop-up headlight years. They came along at the wrong time of my life though.

admit, it, it had a little to do with the name, and being a pilot...I'm pretty sure the preference of the Stealth was that for me.

Yeah the name was a big factor for sure. I do like the look of it though and the twin turbo v6...

Measured mine. It is 14 gauge, .064" thick.

Did they sell the Dodge variant in Canada? At least according to carsalebase.com there almost as many Stealth sold in the US as there were GTs. GT wins because they sold them longer but the first few years Stealth outsold the GT.

You think someone got a sweet deal on that last GT3000 sold in 2002?
