Still I'd love to see this sort of advertising carried over to the U.S., but I'm sure it'd be something like LOL'drift and explaining why it's a boxer engine without AWD.

Soul seeking aside I just wanted a sports car that had a low seating position, looked more like a supercar than a coupe, was a hardtop and was affordable. We would all just assume it would be fun too.

in the US do you even think 1% of people know what a boxer engine is or even to associate it with AWD? US marketing is all about looks and cup holders. And for sports cars HP numbers

yeah for some, i sling cars for a living, about 1/25th of the people actually ask how much hp a car has, what people want now is leather/nav/ and the color they choose

they ask weather or not its a I4, v6, or a v8

i sold a sl600 a few days ago and they guy was more worried about how many cylinders it had(v12) , power never came up, he pressed the pedal and smiled and thats all that mattered...

in reality people will test drive the fr-s, and this car generates smiles...

more than touch nav, leather, or horsepower numbers....
if a car can put a smile on a person's face, the car is sold to me...
