I only have one question for you and it is...
WHY!? While I enjoy snowsports as well, theres no way I would ever take my baby up to the snow. The thought of the salt covered roads worries me, not to mention the horrid parking of Tahoe ski resorts... But to contribute to the thread, its only a matter of time before you see racks available. Between Thule and Yakima chances are pretty good alone.

Take my RX-8 skiing about every other weekend. I clean it off after every trip, underside and all, and have never had a problem with corrosion. There are underbody sealants you can also use that help.
Just get some proper winter tires until you like to get out and push a lot. |

With the rear seats folded flat you should be able to fit a snowboard inside the car.

I lived in Salt Lake City for 2 years with my RX-8 and drove it up the canyons many times in snowy conditions. I never mounted a ski rack but saw quite a few RWD cars that had. Snow tires are a must!! It is night and day the difference (granted i'm comparing to the stock summer tires it came with). |

Do you think my road bike with the front wheel off will go into the trunk with the rear seats down?
