I had some free time last week and tore apart the first transmission that was sent in for the rebuild. Waiting on the other tester to send in his trans and then we are still looking for (1) more guy if you want in on this!

I have a spare, in good shape, transmission on hand now as well, if sourcing a transmission is an issue.

Thank you,
Eric

The transmissions took a bit longer to get in than anticipated but all (3) test units are blown apart and being put back together. Below are some photos.

Getting closer to having some more running the gearset we helped develop, which is exciting!

Thanks,
Eric

Been building them after hours the past few weeks. I believe I should have the remaining (2) units buttoned up by Monday next week, or at least that is the plan. Below are some photos. I was shooting for a price of under $3k for the kit, I'm unsure at this time if we will be there or not.

Output shafts assembled, countershafts started:

Daniel's transmission going together:

Thank you,
Eric

We have two more transmissions, running and driving in a car at this point, with the 3rd being installed shortly.

So far nothing really to report.

Sam was gracious enough to do something I have wanted to do for 6+ months. He took a video of the gearset in action so you can hear the noises she makes. 1, 2, 5, and 6 are basically the same as OEM noise level, with 3rd and 4th sounding like a straight-cut gearset should.

Thanks,
Eric

Another of our Beta testers has been down the drag strip a handful of times and now pushed his power up higher. These dyno pulls were done in 4th gear as well.

Thanks,
Eric

I'm guessing this customer has a built short block and stock heads? Excited to see a gearset for this motor that can hold some power.

I don't know his full build but yes he has a built bottom end. No idea what is done to the heads.

Thanks,
Eric

Eric, On the video I thought I heard a small chirp on throttle down between shifts. Is that my imagination and if not, what is it?

You'd have to ask Sam. He runs a Motec M150, it does have the capabilities to throttle blip on downshifts. Otherwise, it's making normal noises in the video; sounds exactly like my transmission in my car.

We have a few extra units that have been finalized if anyone is interested. Please PM/e-mail us for any information.

Thanks,
Eric

Any updates? Or an estimate of when the kit will be available?
