Also, I am looking for a place that will not jerk me around with regards to chirping fuel pumps.

Lastly, if anyone knows a dealership/reputable windshield replacement center please let me know, I cracked mine clear across the first day I moved back up here from TN and haven't bothered to replace it until winter finished, since on my TN insurance (allstate) it will still cost me my deductible (not changing to NY insurance, damn ripoff artists)
I have a friend that works at Romano Toyota/Scion on Bridge street in Syracuse if you don't mind name dropping. I am positive he would help you and have your car dealt with in a professional manner. Definitely stay away from Bur d i c k Scion. They suck at everything they do.

I have used Romano Toyota once before for a previous car back during my undergrad at SU and liked their service, I had been told by people to stick with Romano Toy and not any of their other dealerships. Thanks for the heads up.

I would definitely give him a shot.

CNY Thread

Any Burd i c k and FX dealership is a no go for service. I've heard good things about Romano, I personally used Waite Toyota up in Watertown and they had great customer service. They even called to ask about my car after I moved away

Now that there are some more in the area we'll have to set up an 86 meet.

I've been in California all spring. Extremely spoiled by all of the roads.

I'll be back the first Saturday in June, the 6th. It's a little ways out, but if anyone knows a good segment of nice curvy roads near Syracuse area, we could organize a meet/drive day.

Never had any dealings with Romano Toyota but Romano Subaru's service department was atrociously bad. I had an intermittent fuel pump issue they blamed on my cold air intake and refused to provide any warranty service on my car (though the cause turned out to be the gas I was using...but that's another story).

I will never go back to Romano Subaru again, and I've recommended the same to everyone. I'm much happier with Don's Subaru in the Utica area, plus it's closer to where I live.

I have no experience with the sales department at either dealership as I bought my car from Ramsey Subaru in New Jersey.

I've been searching for curvy roads lately and haven't had too much luck, anybody know of any good ones?

I know a lot of curvy roads. Theres 13 curves (tight short road). There is RT13 between caz and chittengo (my personal favorite, long large radius corners followed my a mix of medium to tight corners. Runs past chittengo falls which is an awesome chill/meet spot). Then there is Gulf Road which is a completely insane tight corner one lane roads.

Check out this site for some nice scenic roads. http://www.motorcycleroads.com/Routes/New-York_108.html
