an update..
- My car required a total of 228 mi to get all ECU DTC readiness monitors into the complete state. Getting the EVAP monitor into complete state took forever and can only be done from a cold start (a.k.a. Car needs to sit for >6 hours, coolant temp < 120F, IAT and ECT must be within 7F of each other.) -AAA in San Diego was able to process my out of state new car purchase title/registration and gave me plates. I was told by the rep that as long as you have the Certificate of Origin (which Heuberger Motors provides) they can title the car for you without having to go to the DMV.. however certain offices may tell you to go to DMV because they don't know what to do. Overall.. I'm extremely happy with the purchase from @HeubergerMotors and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for one. |

Just got out of the san Diego dmv on Normal street. I didn't pay tax on shipping. No problems in and out in 45 mins or so because I needed VIN verification

Anyone buy a Brz in full with cash from Clint at Heuberger motors?
Id like to know how the process went exactly. EDIT: Got the local dealer I mentioned a few posts back to give me a 14' wrb BRZ limited for 26,652. 152 dollars more than Clint, but I don't have to pay shipping. Will probably be going with the local dealer. Sounds like an awesome deal. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk Last edited by k.houan; 01-09-2014 at 09:58 PM. |
