So what you are saying is make the fastest version of a car on any given year and make that the straight model name and start adding special badges for everything you take things away?

So like a "Camaro" would be the supercharged V8 version, followed by SS for the v8 with track pack, followed by Camaro SS 1LE for the basic SS, followed by "Camaro XR/G3/Z19 0LE" for the basic rental fleet I4?

fake news says the BRZ is coming to Australia.

https://www.carsguide.com.au/car-new...erformance-car

Quote:
Subaru BRZ confirmed for Australia in 2021!

International reports that the incoming Subaru BRZ will be a vehicle for "America only" have been panned by the brand in Australia, with local representatives telling CarsGuide "we will get the next-generation BRZ".

In news that will cause a collective sigh of relief to whistle across this country, the next-gen BRZ is a lock for a local launch, with CarsGuide understanding we will see it in our market around the third quarter of 2021.

No, they're all just "Camaro". Just like the original 1967 Z/28, that wasn't an additional badge or anything, it was just the RPO option number, Z/28 appeared on the window sticker and nowhere else.

Better still, no badges on the car whatsoever! That's how I presented my 3.1 liter 240Z and my LS3-engine FD. Let people wonder...

Can't wait for the new Mustang SUV.

The flying spit and blood is going to be impressive.

Of course it will. Not sure why anyone thought it would not. The gen 1 has been a big seller here, and we are a RHD market just like Japan with automotive regulations (e.g. safety etc) closely harmonised. They can build them in Gunma and stick them straight on a ship to Australia - virtually no changes required from the JDM model. Why wouldn’t they?

Not sure why anyone believed the clickbaits who clearly interpreted ‘no BRZ for Europe’ as ‘next BRZ is USA only.’ What an asinine leap of logic. There is far more to the world than the USA and Europe. Africa, Middle East, Asia, Australia... 6B out of the world’s 7B population actually live outside Europe or the USA. Huge automotive markets.

Really? Don't you mean a "Kazoo"?:

Your image reminds me of a new BMW... e.g. a "noise maker" with fake engine sound through the stereo!

On the other hand, Toyota using GR only for the sporty lineup is almost saintly by today's standard. So long as there's no GR Sienna, I'll give them a star for the effort.
That Sanitary Towel badge is almost as bad as a pink Sexually Transmitted Infection badge.

I debage anything without prongs. Adding badges is lame.

I immediately associated Gazoo Racing with The Great Gazoo, voiced by Harvey Korman if my brain is working. In fact that is my avatar on Supra MkV forum from the beginning.
And TRD also immediately associated with turd. That's terdinators avatar here, I think.

Imagine if Toyota deleted GR from the 4 cyl Supra name it might reduce overall sales, otherwise why wouldn't they have?

You are not alone!
