I'm surprised the freeways weren't at a standstill

OK, I fired up my FR-S and drove it to do errands today.

Yep, I got a brand new pillow from Bed, Bath and Beyond. mrs humfrz wouldn't touch my old pillow anymore, she said it was disgusting ......

I did not have to back up, once I got out of the driveway, so I did not crash.

However, there was this dumb ass in the middle of the road, just outside my house, wearing a reflective vest and hat and a survey tripod, surrounded by orange cones ....... that I damn near backed over. He jumped back and just glared at me ......

Had to run home quickly on Wednesday to grab gym clothes. It was raining, and on my way back to the office I took an exit from the highway that has a nice tight bend. Accelerated a little more than I intended, which loosened the rear end unexpectedly. Thankfully the nannies caught me, and I did not crash

Maybe I'll drive the FRS to Kohls today and use the gift card I got during xmas for some new ones. Hope I don't crash

Problem is nobody sells thin pillows. This was one of those $2.99 Target ones, basically the cheapest shittiest one possible.

These days the $2.99 ones are way to thick and puffy. Lame.

Well, I put my old pillow, with nicotine stains, drool splotches and dried blood marks out on one of the lawn chairs on the covered part of the deck, for my ferrell, black cat to sleep on.

This morning the cat was curled on a lawn chair, but NOT the one with my old pillow .......
