The sales figures are on schedule as what they projected in the beginning, 20,000 FR-S and 8,000 BRZ for the first year sales.

Yep, no worries. I was confused at first why you were comparing global vs. US numbers, thought you may have been making a different point.

The sales figures for the twins are definitely looking healthy. The NC Miata is a good comparative benchmark. Hopefully other manufacturers recognize the demand in the market and start selling lightweight RWD cars of their own.

Once they release the convertible FR-S and the turbo BRZ...sale will go even higher...
Does that apply in any state?

Glad to see sales of these cars are stilling going strong! And the fact that the BRZ is still "rare."

Most dealers got their first public shipment of cars the last week in May. They weren't supposed to sell them (from what I've heard) until June 1st, but many of them did anyway, which led to a bunch of us getting our cars very late May. I purchased mine on the 31st. All of those sales were put under June.

Nice!

I got mine end of June. The availability of White MT was non-existent lol. Luckily I took over someone else's order who bought a BRZ instead.

Got mine at $XXX under invoice thanks to the dealer panicking to meet monthly quota and sitting on this particular BRZ over a month already. Negotiation and willingness to walk away helped. VIP what?
