Help!! ECU FAULT Code P0105

ABS, check engine light and Traction control slip light on. Car will not go over 4000 RPM. Fan turns on immediately even when in accessory mode (key in the second position, just before starting it). Read the ECU and it gave me P0105. HELP!!

What is the last thing you did to your car (except drive it) ..??

What power mods do you have if any..??

Unless you understand the above reference, it would be time to limp into a dealership, especially if it's still under warranty.

My car was recently in an accident, and had just finished being repaired. In terms of mods, it's pretty much stock right now, other than a K&N Air Filter. The previous owner had it tuned with ECUTEK for JDL UEL Catless headers on 94 octane. The tune is locked to the ECU and I do not believe it was put back to stock... but that still never caused the P0105 code time come on before the accident.

So, did the code just appear after the accident repair .. ?? If so, how long (many miles) after the repairs were completed .. ??

Any repairs in or near the engine compartment .. ??

Car has gone into limp mode due to sensor error , P0105 is MAP manifold absolute pressure senssor its the one on the intake manifold , check its plugged in chack vacuum hoses, but its most likely bad map sensor or wiring or connector

Yes, code appeared after the repair.

No repairs in or near the engine compartment.

Rear subframe,drivers side rear suspension and axle were all replaced.

I read the ECU with another OBD reader and this time it gave me P0500 (vehicle speed sensor)

check the wheel speed sensor where the accident damage was, their may also be another sensor on transmission as well as ones on other three wheels for abs and traction control. check sensors wiring and plugs

if you have techstream dealer software it can show readings from the wheel sensors

I checked the Speed Sensor on the side the damage was. Other than being a little dirty, it looked physically fine.

Cleaned it and did a continuity test and got no reading, but did the same test on the other side and got a reading (all while the car was off and battery unplugged).

Looks like I need a new speed sensor on that one side?

continuity test probably not the best but if thier is a definte difference between all the sensors except one then it a pretty good sign its stuffed
