Cusco Strut Tower Bars & OEM Audio + subwoofer fitment

Hey guys I'm waiting for my 10 series frs nd I was wondering on the fitment of these two components together. Would the subwoofer interfere with the rear strut tower because from videos I've seen it looks like the subwoofer is a bit bulky nd would rub against or won't fit because of the strut tower. Any answers welcome. Thanks in advance

Strut won't fit with the OEM audio+ sub. You would need to modify the sub enclosure to get it to fit. Contact OEM audio+ to see if they have an option to get a custom box that will fit over the strut bar.

As for getting to the spare. Cusco now sells quick disconnects to make it less of a chore.

If you take a look at the photo linked here, you'll notice a patch kit bag sitting where the spare was. It's all about lightening the car for performance.

gotcha. i'd still rather have a spare then a patch kit(mostly to prevent the extra charges at the tire shop for when they need to deal with the slime), because the car i came from, well, the 86 could have 4 flat tires and still be sportier

Just depends on how you cut the spare tire cover but once you tale that cover off you have enough room to take the spare out
