I haven't weighted the brace but its probably 9-10lbs. Ive been playing with the end plates to find that balance between lightweight and strength.

Everything is made from stainless so not as light as AL but it was its pros and cons

I've definitely thought about doing a machined AL piece but thats for another time.

For the rear trunk brace; are those lower mounting bolts OEM? Or did you have to drill them in the chassis?

He stated earlier they are in the baby seat bolt down locations. So it seems as though there is no drilling needed.

OP, as others have said, I am VERY interested in the rear brace. Would probably buy the front also if you do a package deal.

I try my best to make all my ideas/parts use factory bolt holes and not require drilling of cutting. Kind of learned my lesson on that in the past.

When the time comes I will have a chat with the powers that be about maybe being a vendor here. As of right now I am building a website for my work shop so that's priority.

Funny you mention that. The brace I posted above required drilling into the chassis. Needless to say, took some testicular fortitude. lol.

Measure twice, drill once.
