I waited on my purchase of the GT-R and each year that I waited on average cost me $5k per year in increased price.

My point is that you need to find a point that a car meets your needs and jump onboard at that time.

If the current generation of BRZ/FRS does not meet your needs then you may want to buy something else that does. These cars aren't for everyone… :happy0180:

Idk why people would wait, it's already an excellent fun to drive rwd coupe, if you want tons of power you should get something else then

This car will never get "tons of power", maybe another 20 to 50hp.

I'm waiting for the diesel hybrid, myself.

(If you want to drive a BRZ, get one! There's very little point waiting, since you can always sell / trade your car later if you feel the burning desire to get something else.)

Insurance... Rates increase with engines bigger than 2.0 in EU.

To OP, if you wait, might as well get the new STI, that'll come out. The only reason I didn't buy the current model, is that they're fugly (hatch) to be quite honest, and sedans (bit better looking) are not my cup of tea.

did anyone test drive this car and not fall in love with it right away??? good god I was sold after first test drive, just had to find the correct baby to fit my needs . couldnt be happier. But i think waiting to buy an already amazing car based on speculation is a terrible idea. The benefit would be of course if you wait you can pick up a 13 for cheaper and thro on a FI application
gl with your decision
