16M sulfuric acid!? I never got to mess w that concentration. I remember just 12M being enough to cause combustion from careless students in organic chem lab.

working in the basement, felt a ton of air blowing off the furnace. realized my humidifier is literally falling off the furnace right now..

so i got a new humidifier.

there used to be a mounting flange here



new unit. almost fun to hook up. i don't know why most hvac guys are always in such a bad mood.

I'm doing HVAC too. Installing a 24k btu mini split by myself. This bastard was a nightmare to hang. Got the outdoor unit in place yesterday. Wiring today.

Guess it was an HVAC weekend. Noticed my blower laboring Saturday evening so I went down to inspect. Holy crap, the filter was completely loaded. I've had my service schedule down for years and this was unexpected.

Blew out the filter yesterday. Wind changed direction midway through. Now the FRS is covered with dust.
