The right tip of the Corsa hangs off a bit to the right off center on my car.

Buds and I tried everything from re-torquing to uninstall > reinstall, playing with the rubber hangers, etc.

I said fuck it and called it normal.

Tools needed:

* a friend
* 6 pack of beer
* blow torch
* piece of water pipe with the OD about same as the ID of exhaust

Open a beer, set the torch directed at the last bend in the exhaust pipe

Finish beer

Bend exhaust pipe to desired location while it's red hot

Let cool while having another beer

CAUTION: shield gas tank from the torch .......

Now that you know where it wants to go...

You can predict which way it will go when you take pressure off of it. First I loosened up the bolts holding the pieces together. Then I sprayed all the rubber hangers with foaming hand soap, so they can move. Using a floor jack, with some rubber floor mat to cushion it, I jacked mine up past where it needs to hang. Then I pulled mine over to the right as far as it would go, because mine was too far to the left. Shaking and wiggling to get the most movement from the loose bolts, I held it as far in the opposite direction, to the way it wanted it to go, and I tightened up the bolts. Then I dropped down the jack, jiggled it back and forth a few times, and got out from under to admire my work.

So I got myself a helping hand bribed with beer for the whole process throughout and it's aligned perfectly now. I gave the free method one last try before I bought some worm clamps, etc and I think the problem was the positioning of the midpipe->frontpipe. I was using a spare floor jack to hold it in position while I tightened it up originally, having a friend hold it where I wanted it seemed to be the deciding factor in aligning the mufflers in the desired location.
