so i drove very reasonable for a full tank of gas, still had some fun but as reasonable as i could, was able to pull 365miles on a tank, filled up and topped off at 10 gallons, woohooo!!!! Also saw a BRZ in georgetown yesterday.

Also just worked 65 hours OT at work so now i want to buy something for my baby, im thinking either coils or keep saving for my paint job..

At dealership for my 15,000 service a to have the "chirp" checked. Any tips from those who have gone through this already?

It's the HPFP.
I had mine replaced about 3-4 months after I had the car which was back around october. Dropped the car off early in the morning and got it back by the afternoon, but prior to that they had to verify the chirp was there before ordering the part. Pretty much pointless since the chirp came back after 800-1000 miles later. Supposedly they just revised the fuel pump again though but some who have replaced it since then are still reporting the chirp after putting some miles on it. Most of us have accepted that its just an imperfection on the car.

This^ did the same thing a couple months ago and was pointless.

Service advisor claimed it was the pulley bearing. Said part was on back order...thoughts? I didn't even bring up the TSB. Gonna just go to another dealership.

First time i've heard that as the diagnosis. If its the "cricket" chirp than its definitely the HPFP which the TSB has been out for awhile. When I first called the dealer they had no idea but I had to give them the tsb number for them to find it but then again that was shortly after the release of the car when many dealerships were still new to the FR-S. The dealership that did my replacement was Universal Toyota and they were pretty good about it no complaints about the service dept. I've also heard nothing but good things about Toyota of Boerne.

Haha Oh i know! I love mine but i love the added grip more than stepping her out. I do have a set of stock wheels and tires for some fun though!
