A place to stand!
A place to grow!
Ontari-ari-ari-o!

Plate looks like it's all flat, missing the debossed border and embossed letters. Is it still aluminum covered in vinyl? Are the numbers reflective?

Sort of difficult to see the details with that (illegal in Ontari-ari-ari-o) cover over it.

You got it! The new tag line is taken right from the song lyrics. And yes, they are flat.

Yes, it's a totally flat piece of aluminum with vinyl covering one side. I think it has reflective material.

I had to get new stickers for my vehicles because its almost my birthday (sigh) and I got new plates for free because the old one were delaminating.
I think they would normally cost something like $59.
Plates for trucks haven't changed.

Changing plates give the car a new vibe.

Barf. Terrible design, and going completely flat just looks cheap.

I want a set. It'll make them look less obvious against my dark paint.

I'd get the new ones but I don't want to give up my 1/4" pile of renewal stickers. Gonna go for a record.

I like the new plates, but since my car is white I think the current white/blue color plates fits better on it.

BTW, @Guru Woodman: excellent Q-tips analogy!

It seems that most new things just look cheap. It looks like a "knock off" plate.

"A place to grow" We're running out of room and housing is unattainable for young people.

I can't wait to retire and put this shit hole behind me
