Valenti 4th brake light

Hi All,

So I'm sure this has been asked many times and I've seen numerous different configurations on the installation and the videos are sort of confusing since they don't differentiate the wires.

I don't mind taping wires, etc but just afraid I'm going to cut the wrong ones since they are poorly documented in my opinion (thats just my opinion)

So I have the valenti 4th brake light which I purchased a while back and I'm finally getting around to installing it since corona and might as well take the extra time and install it (hope everyone is safe during this time!)

So The unit only came with the initial connector and a red wire. So I'm wondering how I would install this and which wires I need to exactly pull or tap, etc. FT86Speed factory just told me I need to tap the tail light wire. So to those who have installed them if you can shed some insight.

I'd love to have the V part on while the tail lights on are and then have the little triangle light on top come on when I brake

If anyone could shed some insight that would be great

This thread has some info about making your own connector so you don't have to splice directly into your harness. I don't have the exact info, but I believe someone sells a pre-made harness for this.
