To what were you referring when you wrote, "Never used or mounted'? I thought the ad was about wheels.
Or do you mount your wheels on your tires?

Never mounted means, tires mounted on the wheels, and wheels never used. Something that is pertinent to a sale thread.

This is pretty damn basic concept to grasp, so again, are you new to cars? Or do you just go around shitting up other people's sales threads with ignorant comments?

I learned something new today.. I always thought, "never mounted", meant it was never mounted on the car.

Mounting wheels on the car can and will easily scratch any paint off the inside of the wheel where the lugs sit, so if mounted, and even "new", there could easily be small "damage" or paint chips where the lugs sit (I know this is inevitable, but for buyers looking for "new", it makes a difference, thats why I thought "never mounted" meant it was "never mounted on a car".

Tire mounting on wheels can easily be done without leaving a scratch on the wheel. So I would have never thought that when someone says "never mounted", that it means, "tires never mounted".

Interesting.

I don't mean to be nosy and leave comments on somebody's sale thread but this was very interesting and new to me. So I asked my friend Google and found this.

What do “mounting” and “balancing” mean?
Mounting is pretty self-explanatory – it’s simply the act of putting the tires onto the wheels, then installing the wheels onto your vehicle’s axles.

Putting tire on rim and rim installed on car is what mounting means, so it is hard to say mounted if only one of these were done.

It's one wheel on by two lug nuts and they're probably not even torqued down. Think he just wanted to check if they fit the brakes. Doubt any kinds of scratches happened. It's not false advertising. This is a great deal for brand new wheels and if you're going to complain about him checking the fitment, then go buy new ones lol

I really like the design of the wheel and looked forward to seeing it on a BRZ. GLWS OP should sell quick

Thanks for the clarification, Evan. Yes, I am new to cars. I appreciate your patience with me. Good luck with the sale, and I apologize if I hurt your feelings.
