I had the idle fluctuation today....car almost stalled. I don't believe I have had the ECU reflash. Should I do that or call to report the issue?

I would watch carefully for the next few weeks. Most dealerships won't do the reflash unless you fall within a specific vin range or you have a cel.

Mine only does it while its warming up... Seems to be a problem with the fuel system... How many people on here also have the fuel pump chirping noise

Just had my car serviced. Afterwards I noticed the dips more.

Idles but dips into 500 and picks back up. its not bad just annoying. car should never go under 1000 IMO. this seems like a simple computer problem not maintaining right RPM.

If i stall or lose power I'll complain.... the longer i wait the better i think

Surprise, surprise, my rpm fluctuations are now completely gone after an ECU update. They did it when I took my car in for 7500KM oil change (ECU was a January update afaik).
Engine feels much better now

This happens to me when I drive the car less than 30 minutes. After that it seems to just act normal. I think for some reason i just needs to run at operating temperature for a good amount of time. I don't think it's normal, but it doesn't bother me too much.

Well, I did advise them to do it(after the CEL I got after +- 3500 KM), but it wasn't available here in Belgium yet.

I think I'm completely on to something with the idle dip.

I have come to realize, anytime I push the brakes a little harder then normal, the RPMs will dip to +-400 then shoot to 1k+ and this would explain why it's usually happening while I'm coming to a stop/red light.

Sorry I've taken so long to get back. I have a great video showing the dip when you hear me press the brake pedal.

Give it a shot. Sit in your driveway and hit the brakes hard once or even 3 times. The car will dip and shoot back up.

Nothing happens when you hit the brakes lightly? For myself I only noticed when the car is powering anything such as in this case maybe the brake lights.

I have also noticed obvious things like the AC making it dip, but smaller things like hitting both the driver/passenger windows at the same time makes it dip. I even think turning my headlights on make it dip slightly.

Huh, brake booster?
I assume you did it with the a/c and defroster off, I feel like that's 95% of the "problem"
