Oh yeah, you just moved here! Thunder is the opening to the Kentucky Derby Festival. The Derby is always the first weekend in May and "Thunder" kicks a bunch of events off ahead of the Derby. Thunder is the largest firework show in North America. It also used to be quite an awesome air show, but due to recent sequester cuts, no military jets/helicopters will be in the show. However, there still is an air show with a bunch of privately owned planes and stunt teams. Usually there are "thunder runs" and people get together to cruise before Thunder takes place. Sorry if this sounds rude, just the best explanation I could give

The date for 86nationals has been changed to August 10 just so yall know I am pretty sure they have a 1/4 track and a few other surprises that should be good
