Megan racing front strut bar?

http://www.proimporttuners.com/parts...FehZ7AodtDkABw

Anyone seen this or have it? Looks very similar to ones costing twice as much

probably twice as cheap. look at it this way. it has to be STIFFER that the chasis at the top. There might be a reason Cusco's are way more expensive or it could all be a scam. But if you want it for looks go for it but imo "megan" is not an attractive brand.

strut bars are strut bars. They dont do much and if you just want one just to have one than megan would be fine.

I could be wrong but when comparing images side by side the cusco and the megan have the exact same look to them (as compared to the TRD or tanabe strut bar). Seem to have same everything, the megan obviously doesnt have the blue on it.

I wish someone had this because for 100 bucks it looks like a nice alternative to the 200$ ones.

Strut bars already do very little on a modern chassis. Strut bars with pivot points at the mounts do nothing.

There is a hinge at both ends. It won't do squat except add a couple of pounds to the front end.

Now you've identified two more not to waste your money on.
I wish I could remember the brand but I've only seen one that looked like it might do anything at all.
That one had large flat surfaces on both mounts and at each end of the bar. The flats of the bar mated to the flats of the mounts and were held together by two through bolts. There was absolutely no give in the assembly.

I think the GTSpec is the same too. I can't remember.

I wouldn't even touch them with a civic.

This thread should also be in the suspension forum and not here.

The Tanabe one is one of the few that you have adjust the preload on.
